Everyday Hero Awards
Welcome to the Everyday Hero Awards page, a page dedicated to the individuals that change lives each and everyday. Here, we work to find everyday hero's from across the United States who impact the lives of others and/or their community. Everyday hero's are typically people that do extraordinary things to change the lives of others or their community. Executive director, Alexander Kovarovic created these awards in hopes of inspiring people to step up and help one another.
Everyday hero's usually do what they do just to help the lives of others.
There are many different types of hero's: those who risk their lives to save others, those who work to inspire others, and those who work daily to change the world. We want to share the incredible stories of everyday hero's from across the country. Know someone who should win an everyday hero award? Nominate them today!
Qualifications
Anyone of any age can be nominated for an everyday hero award. You can nominate yourself or nominate someone else. To be considered for an award, you must have an inspiring story and/or you must have impacted the lives of others in a positive way. It can be something that happened in one day, or it can be an ongoing story. Either way, we want to hear them all!

If chosen as a winner, you could win various prizes including gift cards, prizes, or even a donation to your chosen charity. Each winner will also win a trophy, certificate, and a letter of appreciation from our executive director.

The Awards
National Everyday Youth Hero Award
-Anyone ages 5-12 can be nominated for this award.
-One winner is selected every December of each year.
Any child can be nominated for this award that has shown a willingness to help others or a willingness to make a difference in the world or their community. Submissions can be for small and big acts of kindness, as no act is too small.
National Everyday Teen Hero Awards
-Anyone ages 13-19 can be nominated for this award.
-Two Winners are selected every December of each year.
Any teenager can be nominated for this award that has shown a willingness to help others or a willingness to make a difference in the world or their community. Submissions can be for small and big acts of kindness, as no act is too small.

National Everyday Hero Awards
-Anyone ages 20 and older can be nominated for this award.
-One or two winners are selected every December of each year.
Any adult can be nominated for this award that has shown a willingness to help others or a willingness to make a difference in the world or their community. Submissions can be for small and big acts of kindness, as no act is too small. Adult awards are often given to adults who showed bravery, courage, and help to someone else in need.

National Community Hero Award
-Anyone ages 16 and up can be nominated for this award. To win, you have to have made a large impact on your own community, not on a national level.
-One award will be given out in December of each year.

National First Responder Award
-Anyone ages 18 and up can be nominated for this award. Only police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders can be nominated for this award.
-One award will be given out in November of each year. Any first responder can be nominated for this award.

National Military Hero Award
-Anyone ages 18 and up can be nominated for this award. Only people in the military can be nominated for this award.
-One award will be given out in November of each year.
​
National Music and Arts Awards
-Anyone ages 6 and up can be nominated for this award. Only people involved in art, dance, and/or music can be nominated for this award. A video of the nominee performing is also required in your nomination.
-Two awards will be given out in November of each year.

National Sports Award
-Anyone ages 13 and up can be nominated for this award. Only people involved in sports who also make a difference in their community can be nominated for this award.
-One award will be given out in November of each year.

Due to the large amounts of nominations, we cannot select everyone as a winner. We thank all the nominees for what they do on a daily basis.

Notice: Please only submit one or two awards for each nominee. Do NOT submit your nominee for more than two awards during the same year.
